The Barcelona armchair, edited by Knoll, was designed by Mies van der Rohe for the German Pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition of 1929. The pure design of the Barcelona Collection epitomized modern architecture, and is undoubtedly one of the most recognized objects of the last century, an icon of the modern movement.
This edition serves to commemorate the centenary of the movement and the close links with Knoll and the foundations of its inimitable design approach.
