Description
The original version of Jacobsen's Oxford chair and edited by Fritz Hansen was designed for the professors at St. Catherine's College in Oxford, at 1963. When the Dean of the College of St. Catherine's chose Arne Jacobsen, who received an honorary doctorate in Oxford upon completion of the project. This innovative example of design is considered today as one of the most outstanding works of A. Jacobsen.
