Product description

The PK52A Desktop was designed by Poul Kjærholm for the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts while he was a member of the academic staff.
The table, skillfully constructed, stands out for the ingenuity of Kjærholm to unite traditional craftsmanship and industrial design. The seemingly simple form embodies the lightness and geometric elegance for which Kjærholm became famous: his pioneering role in designs such as the PK52A desk also helped to place Danish design on the world map.
The PK52A is available in a larger version as PK52 Professor Desk. Both desks can serve without effort as dining tables since their tables are reversible, allowing each side to be used for their own purpose

Detail: Optional drawer in the envelope of the table.

Brand

Carl Hansen and Son is a recognized Danish furniture firm that combines traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology.
Therefore, create unique pieces of great quality for a current home and office.
The founder, and first owner of the company, was a master carpenter who created furniture by order in small series. Thus, he opens his first workshop in Odense in 1908.
But it was the son of the founder Holger Hansen who takes over and grows the company in a rebrandable way. In this way he discovers a new generation of young Danish furniture designers as Hans J. Wegner.
Carl Hansen and Son , already at the beginning, included the legendary chair ch24 or Whisbone chair introduced in 1950. Like this many of the pieces have reached the status of collectibles and design icons.
Naharro furniture is the official distributor of Carl Hansen and Son in its Madrid stores and online store.
