Diseñador

Eero Saarinen (1910-1961) was born in Helsinki. His father was the well-known architect Eliel Saarinen. He studied sculpture in Paris and later architecture at Yale University. During the period of the thirties he studied at the Cranbrook Art Academy, where he forged a lifelong friendship with Florence Knoll. With the passage of time, this friendship became one of the most important design alliances of the 20th century.
As an architect he became famous for his designs of curved lines, especially on the roofs of his buildings, with which he managed to print them a great lightness. Internationally recognized by the Gateway Arch of Saint Louis and the TWA Terminal of the JFK Airport in New York.
