The new Leggera chair adapts effortlessly to different environments and satisfies a wide range of aesthetic and economic needs. A new life opportunity for a historical model that highlights the company's expert workforce. A simple chair with a refined, clear and cultured form, a design icon.
In 1952, the Leggera chair branded the beginning of a path that encapsulated the entire design and the executive association between Gio Ponti, Cesare Cassina and its craftsmen in a unique product, which led to the Superleggera in 1957. In contrast to the latter, distinctive for its thin legs with a triangular section, the Leggera has uprights that have an almost circular profile and, due to its extreme durability and simplicity that expresses all the nobility of an anonymous object, it is a chair that has enjoyed a wide distribution and commercial success always.
The seat is upholstered in fabric or leather (both removable covers), or in natural rope.
