Brand

Carl Hansen and Son is a recognized Danish furniture firm that combines traditional craftsmanship with the latest technology.
Therefore, create unique pieces of great quality for a current home and office.
The founder, and first owner of the company, was a master carpenter who created furniture by order in small series. Thus, he opens his first workshop in Odense in 1908.
But it was the son of the founder Holger Hansen who takes over and grows the company in a rebrandable way. In this way he discovers a new generation of young Danish furniture designers as Hans J. Wegner.
Carl Hansen and Son , already at the beginning, included the legendary chair ch24 or Whisbone chair introduced in 1950. Like this many of the pieces have reached the status of collectibles and design icons.
Naharro furniture is the official distributor of Carl Hansen and Son in its Madrid stores and online store.

Diseñador

Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) was born in Tønder, Denbrand. At the age of 17 years, he finished his apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker with IC Stahlberg. In Copenhagen he attended the School of Arts and Crafts. As a young architect, he joined Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller, working on furniture design for the new town hall of Aarhus at 1940. During the same year, the master cabinetmaker, Johannes Hansen, began to collaborate with Wegner. The Copenhagen Museum of Art and Industry acquired its first chair at 1942 and Wegner created his own design studio a year later. Among Danish furniture designers, it is considered one of the most creative and productive.
Naharro furniture distributes the pieces manufactured by different furniture brands and designed by Hans J. Wegner in its stores in Madrid and online shop, with delivery and assembly service throughout Spain. Ask us any additional information.
