The Aluminum Group Chair is one of the great furniture designs of the twentieth century. Charles and Ray Eames created it at 1958 for the private home of an art collector from Columbus. For the construction of this chair, Charles and Ray Eames moved away from the beginning of the casing and instead tensed a cloth or leather panel between two aluminum sides to create a seat in a sling and yet elastic sling.
The Aluminum Group EA 101 and EA 104 chairs are ideal for use in combination with a table: when compared to the other models of the Aluminum Group, they are somewhat lighter, taller and narrower. Thanks to the wide range of soft and vivid colors for the upholstery, it is easy to find the perfect chair for any dining room.
Details: The two models differ by the type of base - fixed or rotating - and by the presence or absence of arms.
