The original piece was auctioned at Christie's in New York for a price of 3.824.000 dollars, a figure that represents the record in furniture auctions of the twentieth century.

Details: The top of the table is glass with bevelled edges, of 15 mm thick. Oak structure dyed canaletto walnut. Measurement of 160 x 80 cm.
