Superstudio was founded in Florence, in 1966. The group has contributed to the theory and designs of the architecture of the radical movement.
At 1972, he designed an environment for the show "Italy: The New Domestic Landscape" at the MOMA in New York. Between 1973 and 1975, Superstudio belonged to Global Tools. The group participated in several exhibitions of the Triennial, and at 1978 it organized a show of its own at the Istituto Nazionale d'Arquitectura in Rome. From 1973, its members have taught at the Faculty of Architecture of Florence.
At 1982, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem organized a full retrospective of his work.
