It is the classic among the classics. Its unmistakable and masterfully proportioned form has turned this height-adjustable table into one of the most popular icons of twentieth-century design. It receives its name from the summer house E 1027 Maison in bord de mer, which Eileen Gray built for herself and her partner Jean Badovici. The name of the house, which looks like a secret code, occurred to Eileen: E from Eileen, 10 from Jean (the J is the tenth letter of the alphabet), 2 from B (adovici) and 7 from G (ray).
Height adjustable between 61 and 101 cm.
Materials: Structure of chromed steel tubes. Clear glass plate, parsol gray or black varnished metal.
