Composed of tables of various sizes, Pianura is one of the new collections presented by B&B Italia at the Salone del Mobile Milano 2019. This line is the result of a project by renowned Italian designer Antonio Citterio, who has created decoration accessories that stand out for the high quality of the materials and the brand's distinctive manufacturing capacity.
Available in several sizes, the Pianura side table is composed of a thin and geometric metal base topped by a marble or wood board, in the various finishes of the collection. In addition, it is possible to insert a practical leather-covered compartment in the center of the upper part.

Antonio Citterio

Antonio Citterio was born in 1950 in Meda, Italy. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan. In 1972 he starts his activity as an advisor and designer in the field of industrial design and, between 1987 and 1996, he works with Terry Dwan in the Studio Citterio / Dwan.
From 1990 to 1992, she teaches at the Domus Academy in Milan and, from 1993 to 1995, she is an external furniture design examiner at the Royal School of London before accepting a teaching position two years later at La Sapienza University in Rome .
Already at 1999, he founded with Patricia Viel, Antonio Citterio and Partners, a multidisciplinary studio in Milan. Until 2002 teaches at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Italian Switzerland. From 2006 returns to occupy a chair there.
