Presented in the 1956 year, the PK22 armchair by Poul Kjaerholm was immediately successful both commercially and critically. Thanks to the craft processes and the great design of this piece, in 1957 he won the Grand Prix at the XI Triennale of Milan, and in 1958 he won the Lunning Prize, the most prestigious art and design award in the Scandinavian countries.
