The Cité chair edited by Vitra, which was designed for a competition to equip the student residence of the Cité Universitaire de Nancy, is one of the first masterpieces by Jean Prouvé. This dynamic armchair, with its characteristic painted steel skids and its wide leather belts as armrests, was used by Prouvé himself in the living room of his house. Its wide dimensions and a cozy upholstery contribute to create excellent comfort.
Details: Seat and backrest upholstered in beige one-piece fabric. Padding: height adjustable polyurethane foam cervical cushion. Base: curved steel sheet with red powder coating.
