Frank Gehry came to Knoll at 1989 with an idea to design a new generation of curved wood furniture inspired by the apple boxes. After the appropriate investigations, Gehri created his furniture collection, being the Power Play armchair one of his maximum expressions. The armchair is complemented with the Off Side Footrest (Not included).
Details: Frame made of strips of laminated sheet of hard maple, with union of urea glue.

Diseñador

Frank Gehry was born in 1929 in Toronto (Canada). He studied Architecture at the University of Southern California and Urban Planning at the School of Design at Harvard University. At 1962 he opens the Frank Gehry & Associates architecture studio in Los Angeles. Between 1969 and 1972 is dedicated to the design of the "Easy Edges" furniture series.
In 1974 he obtains chairs in Harvard and Yale; and in 1982, 1985 and between 1987 and 1989 he occupies the chair of architecture Charlotte Davenport of Yale University, where he teaches classes to date.
