Description
At 1945, Charles and Ray Eames developed a toy elephant made of wood veneer that, however, never reached the production stage. One of the prototypes was lent to the Museum of Modern Art in New York for an exhibition that was organized in 1946. Still today it is still part of the collection of the Eames family.
After the limited edition of 2007, Vitra has now started the serial production of the Eames Elephant Plywood for the first time.
