Product description

Lamps have historically been formed to cover different sources of light, such as the light bulb, and to act as a reflector to direct light. Due to the physical shape and size of the light source, the lighting artifact itself had a significant size.
Today, thanks to the new technology, light sources of almost zero size no longer limit the size and shape of the lamp. As a result, minimization has become the design standard. However, with pendants in particular, the lamp has always played an additional role. Apart from providing light, it shapes the room. The lamp that hangs from the ceiling, often on a table, creates a room inside the room.
In the suspended w151 lamp, the quality of the room's configuration is restored, not with a lamp, but with three. Based on the most basic geometric shapes, the cone, the lamp comes in three variations: the high and narrow, the archetypal and the low and wide. All three are large, exceeding the limits of manufactured aluminum. In addition to the quality of the light, the characteristic of this lamp is its size. Combined with careful control of details and matte paper-like finishes, the lamp is almost illusory.
Note: For the S1 lamp, red has an almost orange tone.

Brand

The lighting company Wästberg emerged from the early vision of a young Swedish man after identifying a systemic failure that prevailed in most offices and public places in the world, a problem so monumental that no one bothered or wanted to confront it. Wästberg wanted to return the light to human proximity. Rekindle the appreciation of sublime shadows and contrasts.
With reduced general overhead lighting and sophisticated direct light from desk lamps, wall lamps, floor lamps and pendants, Wästberg's goal was to build a new set.
Ten years later, little has changed since the beginning. What remains is the deep respect for the most basic human need, expressed through the combination of aesthetics, cutting-edge technology and conservation of resources. And what also remains is the close collaboration with some of the most renowned architects, designers and lighting experts in the world.
Naharro furniture is an official distributor of the Wästberg lighting brand with an exhibition in its stores in Madrid and online store, where you can see and buy your entire catalog.
