Product description

Designed more than two decades after the launch of the Admont and Holzstern lamps, the Hallstatt lamp is a specific adaptation of the predecessors for entrance halls and small halls. JT Kalmar used the Hallstatt lamp as an opportunity to reinterpret the design of the armor with a stable latticework made of rosewood, wenge, oak, hardwood or walnut and finished in a black bronze cladding.
For black lacquer it is only available in oak.

Brand

Kalmar believes that producing a great design demands impeccable execution. Therefore, the firm is based on the rich artisanal tradition of Austria, which, in collaboration with the most outstanding designers of today, drives it towards the future. Imagination, skill and quality infuse every step of your work.
Kalmar is an extension not only of Austrian culture and modernist expression, but also of a very personal history: during 130 years, it has been a place of traditional craftsmanship and progressive experimentation.
Shortly after Julius August Kalmar founded the company at 1881, he presented works made of cast bronze at the Vienna Commercial Exhibition of 1888, and were immediately hailed for their perspective on the future and meticulous construction. His son, Julius Theodor Kalmar, years later, gave the company a new direction by developing lamps for the prestigious architects Josef Frank and Oskar Wlach.
Today the company designs new designs that refer to the rich past of Kalmar and anticipates the social and cultural trends that will shape future interiors. Its lamps are installed in prestigious sites such as the Presidential Palace of the Moscow Kremlin, the RMS Queen Mary 2, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, as well as luxury hotels of the Ritz-Carlton, W Hotels, Waldorf Astoria, Shangri-La , Grand Hyatt and Mandarin Oriental.
