Hans J. Wegner designed many cult works throughout his life. The Vitra Design Museum has created several of its furniture in the form of miniatures to be part of the Wegner Collection. Its objective is to create an extensive catalog of the most famous pieces of the last century on an 1 scale: 6 and elaborated to the smallest detail. We present the Y-Chair and the 3-Benet Skalstol.

Hans J. Wegner (1914-2007) was born in Tønder, Denmark. At the age of 17 years, he finished his apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker with IC Stahlberg. In Copenhagen he attended the School of Arts and Crafts. As a young architect, he joined Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller, working on furniture design for the new town hall of Aarhus at 1940.
