Brand

Arclinea was born in Caldogno in 1925 as a workshop specialized in the machining of wood.
In 1958 he creates THEA, the first wooden kitchen and abandons the craft dimension. Its new objective is the production in series with exclusive dedication to the manufacture of kitchen furniture, occupying a well-defined position in the sector.
The Arclinea product is unique for its unique properties; fruit of an artisan knowledge that, nourished by firm study, is never lost. Tradition and experience are combined with technology.
In this way, from the 2016, it is linked to B & B Italia through a strategic collaboration that is based on the common values ​​of design, innovation, quality; in the complementarity of the products and in the common industrial productive focus dedicated to excellence.

Diseñador

Antonio Citterio was born in 1950 in Meda, Italy. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan. In 1972 he starts his activity as an advisor and designer in the field of industrial design and, between 1987 and 1996, he works with Terry Dwan in the Studio Citterio / Dwan.
From 1990 to 1992, she teaches at the Domus Academy in Milan and, from 1993 to 1995, she is an external furniture design examiner at the Royal School of London before accepting a teaching position two years later at La Sapienza University in Rome .
Already at 1999, he founded with Patricia Viel, Antonio Citterio and Partners, a multidisciplinary studio in Milan. Until 2002 teaches at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Italian Switzerland. From 2006 returns to occupy a chair there.
