Nanimarquina has created the Chillida Collection based on a chronological selection of his paintings, from the Human Figure (1948), through the drawing Ink (1957) and the work Collage (1966) that reflect the work process prior to his work more known, the Wind Comb of San Sebastian. It also includes two drawings of his famous hands: Hand and Hands and Gravitation (1993 and 1994). All this work has been translated into carpets with maximum accuracy, all made by hand and using different techniques and materials such as wool, silk, the moer, to give textures and show the essence of his work and offer the value it deserves.

Diseñador

Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002) was born in San Sebastián. In 1943 he moves to Madrid to study Architecture, however in 1947 he decides to abandon the career to start drawing at the Círculo de Bellas Artes. In 1951 he settles in Hernani where he discovers the iron and makes his first work.
In the 2000 year, the Chillida-Leku Museum was inaugurated, where a large part of his work is currently resting in continuous dialogue with nature. His work is present in more than 20 museums around the world.
19 dies in August of 2002 in San Sebastian without seeing its great dream concluded, the Tindaya project, a public work in the heart of the mountain.
