Beautiful and elegant, however it was not well received by the public in 1952 when Fritz Hansen launched the Ant chair de Arne Jacobsen, since the chair had only 3 legs and had no armrests. It can be understood that in 1952 it was a revolutionary chair due to the shell design and the seat made of a piece of laminated wood with 9 layers of molded veneer and 2 layers of cotton in the middle.
The Ant chair is also available in version of 4 legs.
Details: Seat and back in oak. Chromed tubular steel legs. Seat height 44 cm. Stackable chair
