At first glance, the All Plastic Chair, designed by Jasper Morrison, reminds us of the simple and classic wooden chairs so common in Europe for many decades. However, adapting the design to another material has considerably improved both its appearance and its performance. The flat shapes of the structure are molded in one piece, while the thin surface of the seat is organically shaped and the backrest is thinner than that of conventional wooden chairs.
The All Plastic Chair is therefore compact and elegant, and the combination of plastic elements makes it extraordinarily comfortable. While the structure is rigid polypropylene very resistant, the seat and backrest are more elastic and adapt to the user's shapes. The backrest is joined to the structure by twin shafts cushioned with rubber stops, which allows it to bend gently to the movements of the user further increasing the comfort of the chair.
It is available in a "duotone" color selection and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
