The Solvay table is part of the interior design project for the Solvay company developed by Jean Prouvé in the 40s and who publishes the brand Vitra. The table integrates the characteristic structural details of Prouvé, with the interaction of forces and tensions. Given the scarcity of metals at this time, it was made of solid wood and, together with the oil finish, they give the table a refined and simple appearance that compensates for the technical coldness of the design.
The components of solid oak, natural oak, dark smoked oak or American walnut.
