Description
The Coffe Table of Alexander Girard entered the catalog of Knoll in 1948, and since then it reflects the classic spirit of the brand perfectly. Not surprisingly, he figures prominently in one of the most iconic portraits of Florence Knoll and her dog, Cartree.
Impeccable walnut top, organic shapes, 45-degree beveled edge ... In addition, the shape allows the table to be placed with the straight side or asymmetric towards the seating area, which provides a large surface in relatively narrow spaces. Girard's work has been the subject of numerous museum exhibitions, including a 2004 retrospective at the Cooper-Hewitt National Museum of Design.
Details: Finished in walnut.
