Verner Panton created Amoebe in 1970 for his famous installation, Visiona, which included several versions of this lounge chair. Amoebe, edited by Vitra, embodies the exuberant spirit of the early seventies.
The Amoebe Highback version has a flexible backrest that ends up forming a curve over the user's head, in the manner of a sculptural canopy. This eye-catching detail gives the chair a pleasant feeling of protection and isolation.
Details: Backrest laminated frame. Upholstered in Tonus fabric.
