Description
The Cité armchair edited by Vitra, which was designed for a competition to equip the student residence of the Cité Universitaire de Nancy, is one of the first masterpieces of Jean Prouvé. This dynamic armchair, with its characteristic painted sheet steel skids and wide leather straps as armrests, was used by Prouvé himself in the living room of his house.
Details: Seat and back upholstered in F40 Mello 03 cement fabric. Height-adjustable neck cushion. Base in powder-coated steel in ecru finish. 33,5 cm seat height.
