Max Ingrand was born in Bressuire in 1908, and died in Paris in 1969. Student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and then at the Decorative Arts School. He is considered a French glass artist and official designer of the Legion of Honor. He was artistic director of Fontana Arte.
