The suspended lamp Tatou de Flos is a design by Patricia Urquiola. In French Tatou means 'armadillo', a mammal known for the structure formed by its bony plates. The designer was also inspired by the old Japanese armors.
The shape of the dome of the Tatou lamp serves as a filter for the light source, creating a harmonious play of light and shadow. The color is also decisive for the final light effect. The decision of the three colors (white, black and ocher gray) does not respond only to an aesthetic choice, but to a specific search for different light effects.
Details: Diffused light lamp. Ocher gray finish. External polycarbonate diffuser. Opal polycarbonate internal diffuser. 4 meter cable. It includes bulb.
