The Semi lamp was designed at 1968 as a result of the collaboration of two architecture students, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. His intention was to create a geometric shaped lamp with sharp corners and clean lines. This design, characterized by its lightness, its unique design, timeless and elegant, was presented for a competition at the Royal Danish Academy of the Fine Arts School of Architecture and won the first prize. The suspended lamp edited by Gubi has become an icon of Danish design. The collection consists of three models of different patterns and terminations.
