Sometimes, the simplest things are the most lasting and memorable, being Topan a brilliant example. It was the first mass-produced lamp by Verner Panton, which was then followed by the FlowerPot. Topan's simplicity and freshness prove to have lasting value.
It was originally designed for the Astoria hotel and restaurant in Trondheim, Norway, in 1960. Topan lamps hung everywhere, dividing large rooms into smaller, more intimate spaces.
