Designed by Poul Henningsen, the suspended PH 3½-3 lamp, published by the brand Louis Poulsen, provides glare-free lighting, with a design based on the principle of a three-screen reflector system that projects most of the light downward. The shades are made of stamped aluminum with a white interior finish that ensures soft, downward light distribution. The downlight is soft and welcoming.

Diseñador

Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was born in Copenhagen. He studied at the School of Technicians in Frederiksberg, Denbrand and at the Technical College, in Copenhagen.
He began to practice traditional functionalist architecture, but over the years his professional interests changed to focus on lighting. At the beginning of the Second World War, he was chief architect of the Tivoli Gardens (Copenhagen). It became a vital part of the Danish colony of artists who lived in Sweden.
His ongoing collaboration with Louis Poulsen Lighting began at 1925 and lasted until his death.
