Diseñador
Verner Panton (1926-1998) was born in Denbrand. He attends the Technical School of Odense and studies Architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. In 1955 he opens his own architecture and design studio. His predilection for intense colors and geometric shapes is evident in his vast work. The spatial compositions are legendary, whose objective is to fuse floors, walls and ceilings, as well as furniture, lamps, fabrics and panels of enamel or plastic to form a spatial unit as perfect as indivisible. The Visiona ships of the Cologne Furniture Fair, the offices of the Spiegel publishing house and the Varna restaurant in Aarhus are just some of the most famous examples.
