Details: Diffused light floor lamp. Inner diffuser in pressed borosilicate glass acid treated. Exterior diffuser in pleated fabric. Aluminum alloy base and head supportDie-cast aluminum, steel feet, all of them painted gray. The diffuser support is made of injection-molded transparent polycarbonate. The electronic dimmer that is in the cable allows the gradual regulation of the light intensity.

Diseñador

Philippe Starck (Paris, 1949) studied at the Nissim School in Camondo, Paris. In the early seventies he worked a brief period as an artistic director at Pierre Cardin. Then he establishes himself as an interior architect and furniture designer and begins with the two aspects of his extraordinary career: he becomes a star designer of international fame, among other things for his masterful self-creation and creates a practically untold number of projects and products.
At 1986 he teaches at the Academia Domus in Milan and at 1999, with the project developer J. Hitchcox, he founded Yoo, a design, branding and brandeting company focused on the residential, hotel and leisure sector.
