Arne Jacobsen (Conpenhague, 1902-1971) was a Danish industrial designer and architect. After studying four years in a construction school, he entered the Faculty of Architecture of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. He was very productive, both as an architect and as a designer.
Among his most important architectural works are the St. Catherine's College in Oxford, the SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, the headquarters of the National Bank of Denbrand in Copenhagen and the Royal Danish Embassy in Knightsbridge (London).
