Mathias Hahn designs for marset a new collection. The name of the Greek goddess Theia - mother of the sun, the moon and the aurora - gives its name to this lamp because its design wants to express above all the beauty of light and the fascination we feel for it. In Theia, materials and shapes are only the means to materialize the concept that has motivated his work: uniting light and shadow in the same piece.
Theia has two faces, to discover them you just have to turn it gently on its axis. It can be directed towards the user and works as a reading lamp. Or, towards an object or a wall, creating a subtle effect of indirect light that warms the environment in an instant. This rotation completely changes the perception of the piece, since its metal diffuser is totally opaque.
Its formal design is elementary and reduced: two hemispheres placed one horizontally and one vertically intersecting each other. Elemental forms that, as in nature itself, make it possible for light, from a light source, to be projected, reflected and absorbed by objects, for the enjoyment of our eyes.
Details: Theia table lamp in white finish. Includes light bulb.
