Designed by Mathias Hahn for marset. The assembly of basic geometric shapes and the use of wood together with metal, give the Scantling lamp a close look and at the same time a branded personality. All screen movements, with full rotation, are resolved by means of ball joints and arms, and its technical precision means that it does not require visible springs or counterweights to maintain the chosen position.
The English word Scantling refers to the dimensions of the section of a wooden rod, and derives from a measurement tool used in the past. The evidence of his constructive game procures to this lamp a certain archetypal, almost graphic image.
Details: Model P73 in white finish. Seatpost and base in white lacquered iron. A solid oak arm supports an aluminum diffuser. The switch is built into the display.
