Description
With a clear inspiration from surrealist art, Finn Juhl designed the Poet sofa in 1941. This sofa was an experiment designed for his own home, but was introduced by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder that same year to the cabinetmaking guild. The appearance of this piece in the Danish romantic film 'The poet and his wife' in 1959, earned it its definitive name, Poet sofa.
We are before an icon of the Danish culture and the world of design in general edited by One Collection.
