The Isabel sofa - designer by Carlo Colombo for Flexform- combines a slim and essential line with the richness of the contents and the confection. The backrest is made up of a metal shell completely covered in leather that extends to the armrests that, opening slightly at the ends, create a slight fold in the leather, reminiscent of the Japanese art of origami. The Isabel sofa is characterized by soft elegance and can be made in selected leather, fabric or leather in plain or contrasting tones, to reveal a more determined character.
Details: 3-seater sofa upholstered in dark testa di moro leather and seat and back cushions in Extra Enea 15020 fabric. Does not include additional cushions. Seat height 42 cm.

Diseñador

Carlo Colombo was born in Carimate in 1967. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Milan in 1993. At the beginning of his professional career he worked mostly in the field of design and as an industry consultant. From 1995, he took care of the restoration of social buildings and private homes. He has given lectures on industrial design in Italy, Israel, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia and Ukraine.
His designs have been exhibited in museums and exhibitions of design and contemporary art: "Design miroir du sieclè" (Paris, 1993); "Im neuen Museum Weserburg Bremen" (1995); Museum of Applied Arts of Cologne (1996). He has made furniture and lighting designs for Italian companies.
