“My idea was to combine the Italian and Danish traditions of making sofas. Cloud has the definite form of the Danish design tradition and the soft and cozy pillows of Italian heritage, ”says Luca Nichetto. Cloud is a series of lounge furniture designed by the Italian for & Tradition.
Its support structure, the segment and the base of the backrest and armrests are made of bent plywood, while its frame and legs are made of powder-coated steel, designed to match the colors of the upholstery. The pillows are made with a mixture of HR foam and feathers, which provides maximum comfort.

Diseñador

Luca Nichetto (1976) was born in Venice, where he studied at the Art Institute. There he later studied at the University Institute of Architecture and obtained a degree in Industrial Design. He began his professional career at 1999 with his first projects in Murano glass design for Salviati. At 2006 he launched his own design company, Nichetto & Partners, specializing in industrial design and consulting.
Today, Nichetto collaborates with a wide variety of Italian and international companies.
