In 2005, Maruni He commissioned prestigious international designers to create chairs that were not intrinsically Japanese, but combined throughout the world. In this way, the Nextmaruni project was born, trying to get designers to express through the design of chairs the new conceptions of the encounter between Japanese aesthetics and the varied personalities of each of the designers.
