Designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1950. The Plastic Armchairs of Vitra they were presented for the first time in the «Low Cost Furniture Design» competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The organic shape of the plastic seat shell was later combined with different bases, producing millions of copies.
In its current version of polypropylene, the Armchairs offer even greater comfort.
Details: Polypropylene seat shell dyed in sea blue finish. Polished die-cast aluminum base, without seat padding. 41,5 cm seat height.
