Armchair 46 is an example of the most beautiful work of Finn Juhl. It was originally designed in 1946 at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition for the master Niels Vodder. In 1953, Finn Juhl modified the armchair into a simpler and more streamlined version for furniture manufacturer Bovirke. It is this latest version that Onecollection -through House of Finn Juhl- has relaunched.
In this version, Finn Juhl clearly tried to emphasize the lightness of the chair, separating the supported elements and the supports. Like the Chieftain chair and the 45 armchair, the 46 chair represents the best of modern Danish furniture design.
Thanks to modern technology, the re-launched version is manufactured with exceptional quality and with stronger joints than the original.
Details: Armchair upholstered in Nevada black leather and walnut frame. 44 cn seat height.
