The Nuvola Rossa shelf is a design by Vico Magistretti edited by the Cassina brand. The shelf follows the modus operandi of Magistretti, created as a result of an analysis of the type of product, reinterpreting the sum of its parts, gathering the different sides and shelves. The resulting design works in a pragmatic way with the diagonal reinforcement creating support for the shelves and eliminating the side pieces. Less is more.

Vico Magistretti (1920-2006) was born in Milan, city in which he graduated in Architecture and where he has developed his professional career, mainly in the areas of urbanism, architecture and industrial design.
He taught and lectured in various architecture faculties and design schools in Italy and abroad. From Milan to New York, from Paris to London, city that named him "honorary member" of the Royal College of Art from 1983.
