Brand

e15 is a firm dedicated to the design and manufacture of furniture in solid wood. It has a modern design language that uses specially selected and treated materials.

Diseñador

Philipp Mainzer (1969) was born and raised in Hamburg. He studied design at the Central Saint Martins University, and architecture at the University Architectural Association, in London. In 1995, he founded E15, with Florian Asche, in London. After completing various interior design projects in England, he worked in New York as an architect. In 2007 he received the prestigious German Design Award for the Shiraz sofa system. Currently, he is the manager and creative director of E15.
Since November, 2009 has been a member of the executive committee of the German Design Council, Rat für Formgebung.
