The Girard coffee table is a design by Alexander Girard entered the catalog of Knoll in 1948, and since then it perfectly reflects the classic spirit of the brand. The top, with its organic shapes and a 45-degree beveled edge, allows the table to be used in different ways, offering a large surface in relatively narrow spaces. Girard's work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions including the 2004 retrospective at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
