The Girard coffee table is a design by Alexander Girard that entered the Knoll catalog at 1948, and since then perfectly reflects the classic spirit of the brand. The envelope, with organic shapes and bevelled edge at 45 degrees, allows to use the table in different ways, offering a large surface in relatively narrow spaces. Girard's work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions, such as the 2004 retrospective at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.
Details: Envelope in ebonized oak and steel legs painted in black. Height of 41 cm.
