Description
It was on July 20, 1969 when the LEM module landed on the moon. The fascination caused by planets and space has entered the collective imagination since then, also affecting the language of design: hard materials and geometric shapes are replaced by flowing lines, daring to gravity and transmitting a feeling of flexibility, lightness and aerodynamics.
Four years earlier, in 1965, Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni They dreamed of being able to conquer space and land on the Moon by designing an object that has no equal in design history: Allunaggio is a futuristic, provocative and ironic outdoor air seat. It consists of a thin frame that supports the seat and is characterized by disc-shaped support feet.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the first man to land on the moon, Zanotta presents a special edition Allunaggio seat, with a new finish that makes it a 'lunar' design object.
Details: Limited edition. Special lunar silver finish. It has a label that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and with specific packaging.
