Zaha Hadid (Baghdad, 1950) is one of the leading figures in contemporary world architecture. He studied Mathematics at the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) and at 1972 he moved to London (United Kingdom) to join the Architecture Association. As soon as he finished his studies, he became a partner in the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) in London.
At 1979, she founded her own architecture studio in the British capital, a city in which the Iraqi architect has lived most of her life. His architectural style has reached its mature definition and shows the features that characterize the set of his works, such as the use of light volumes, pointed and angled shapes, light plays and the integration of buildings with the landscape.
