Werner Sidse (1931-1989) studied at the school of architecture and industrial design in Copenhagen. For a few years, she worked as an assistant in Nanna Ditzel's drawing office.
At 1969 she received a grant from the National Bank of Denbrand Foundation to study plastic production in the USA. A year later, he opened his own studio from where his creations have gone to be exhibited in London, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hannover, Tokyo, Stockholm and Milan.
In 1972 developed for Fritz Hansen several pieces, among which the coat rack Coat Tree stands out.
