Roberto Barbieri was born in Milan in 1942. Degree in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1969. During the same year, he began working with architect Marco De Carli in the fields of design, architecture and graphic design; collaboration continues, although in some sectors.
In 1970, his architectural and decorative designs were part of the exhibition "Living the space for the houses of the 70s", organized by the Council of Furniture Lissone and the School of Architecture; and in 1975, he participated in the show "Living Space in Public Buildings", organized with the 15 ª Triennale of Milan.
In 1979 your design of the Cartiglia bed was selected for the exhibition "1950-1980 italienische Möbel Design" at the Cologne Stadt Museum.
