Ole Wanscher (1903-1985) was born in Copenhagen, and was an architect and professor of architecture in the specialty of furniture design.
He came to shape the Danish furniture, both active and designer as a great teacher. His designs are considered as modern classics, sophisticated and functional, with an exquisite attention to details.
Ole Wanscher created his best models mainly in the period between the forties and early sixties. Through his travels through Egypt and Europe he discovered furniture that inspired his designs.
Characteristic of its design is the search for small dimensions and resistant forms. Their chairs usually have thin and slightly curved arms, which rise elegantly before continuing to the ground, as is the case of their well-known 'Colonial Chair'.
Naharro furniture distributes the pieces manufactured by different brands of furniture and designed by Ole Wanscher in its stores in Madrid and online store, with delivery and assembly service throughout Spain. Ask us any additional information.
